Our beautiful artisan organic Pōhutukawa is gathered from coastal areas of the Northern Coromandel. Often described as New Zealand’s Christmas tree due to is characteristic crimson blooms in December, this rare honey makes the perfect Christmas gift for honey lovers & foodies!
Sweet delicate taste with a subtle salty finish & a smooth to slightly grainy texture. Light golden shades with some natural streaking, frosting or crystallisation occurring. These are natural stages of raw organic honey and vary with each batch & season.
It’s unique flavour pairs well in beverages as a natural sweetener, particularly in coffee.
